Βασικές αρχές της άσκησης με τους δίσκους ισορροπίας
Το σώμα μας κινείται γύρω από τρεις άξονες : τον κατά μήκος, τον κατά πλάτος και τον άξονα του βάθους. Όταν οι αρθρώσεις είναι υγιείς, αυτές οι κινήσεις εκτελούνται με την ελάχιστη τριβή και ένταση. Πάντως η κακή στάση του σώματος στην εργασία, το υπερβολικό βάρος και οι αδέξιες κινήσεις θέτουν σε ένταση το σώμα και δημιουργούν μια μονόπλευρη καταπόνηση.
